That was entertaining, but it was weird too. Seems like a bit of a new direction for the NY series perhaps. Anyway, good job as usual.
Will the next episode focus on various craft projects you can do that involve a dead baby? Ok, I'm sick. Sick, sick sick. But you know it would be funny.

"I didn't think it would do justice to the first..."
This is a perfect sequel. The animation is better, the story is just as cute and clever, I enjoyed it a lot. Good job!

That's a fun game, and challenging. Unfortunately, the gameplay is identical to "Roadblocks" (portal submission 192217). Come on, come up with something original.
This is doing well, and will probably continue to do well, because most of the people voting on it don't remember the original game that this is ...I hesitate to say "ripped off" of because there are differences you've added. However, it's clearly influenced by or based off of Roadblocks.
Roadblocks was hard enough I had to actually look for a walkthrough (which was posted in the reviews) to get past a couple of levels.
If you've never played Roadblocks, my apologies - but if you have, then shame on you for not crediting where credit is due.

"Not too bad... But the sound is awful"
The voices are good, mind you - it's the recording of the voices that sucks. A standard computer microphone isn't designed to handle the differences between normal talking and shouting. Your regular talking is already almost too loud for the mic, so the shouting is completely overloading it.
Turn down the input volume so that the voices don't peak when you're talking normally, and if you're going to shout, you need to pull the microphone away from your face before doing it. I'd reccomend recording the normal level voices first, then pulling the microphone away and recording the shouts, and mixing it together in a wave editor... Either that, or practice until you can sound like you're shouting in the recording without actually shouting.
The other option would be to get a professional quality mic with a pop guard and record your voices in a relatively soundproofed area. I'm thinking that's probably not an option. I mean, it's not an option for me.
Other than that, it was pretty much ok. Go ahead, do episode 2... But I kinda think you should re-record the voices for this one, too.
Good luck!

I liked it! What fun! I only wish it didn't have to end so soon. I love it tho, the little giraffe bouncing up to the moon. Very cute. I'd love to see it take longer to get to the moon, and for there to be maybe birds and other stuff.
Excellent. This reminds me of the cute games at Orsinal Morning Sunshine, which I won't link to here, but you can google search it yourself if you've never seen them.

Heavily influenced by STOMP!, this was very well done. Good job.
Author's Response:
Thanks. To be quite honest I had long since forgotten about Stomp! My main influence was the Blue Man Group, they rock!

The pacing on that was terrible. Seriously, It took several minutes to get to the point, which was a punchline that was given away by the title, so it wasn't funny anyway. The music got repetitive and boring, the movie wasn't funny at all, but seriously - and I can't stress this enough - the main thing is it needed about 75% less of what it had. The scenes on the ship on the way to the planet could have gone quite profitably, as an example. It's clear you worked hard on this - but you would have done much better to make it much shorter.
It seems to be doing ok - I think that's because people love seeing a big pile of crap. Dunno, just a theory. Ah well.

That got a chuckle out of me, good job. It would have been more fun if it were more animated, but at least it had the bits of animation it had.
I don't really go for the slide-show kind of format, I think it's kind of tedious - that's actually why I rated you low on interactivity, because it was TOO interactive.
This would have been great as an educational film from the 50's, but what a lot of work.
"What's the matter, Billy? Want to play with a brain? But you don't have one? Well, that's no problem, Billy! You can play with a brain today, and I'll tell you how!"
That kinda thing. Still, I laughed. Good job.

It's clear you spent a lot of time on the animation, and that pays off well. I'm confused as to why you didn't actually sync the vocals with the mouths, since you put so much time into the rest of the cartoon.
It's really really hard to understand what the characters are saying, it all sounds muffled. I'm sorry to say that you'd do well to have a running subtitle over the entire thing. Partly its the audio compression, but partly it's that the voices were not enunciated well.
The frame by frame was done superbly, for the most part. I think the whole soda-can-portal-to-the-robot-planet thing was a bit odd... I think more effort could have been spent on scripting his arrival to the robot world.
I'm interested in seeing where you take this series, but you do need to work on it a bit more. That said, I gave it a solid 3/5 in the portal rating, because it's definitely "Not bad, in fact, I kind of liked it!" Work on the things I mentioned and it could easily get up to a 5.
Good job, keep it up.

It's really hard to see the light green crosshairs over the blue sky, you need to pick a color that doesn't blend in so well - red would work. Other than that, it was ok... Not very interesting. I didn't really play it very long, not being able to tell what I was aiming at very well made the game not much fun to me.
